Monopoly is a board game that originated in the United States in 1903 as a way to demonstrate the evils of land ownership.^[1] The current version was first published by Parker Brothers in 1935. Subtitled "The Fast-Dealing Property Trading Game", the game is named after the economic concept of monopoly—the domination of a market by a single entity. It is now produced by the United States game and toy company Hasbro. Players move around the gameboard buying or trading properties, developing their properties with houses and hotels, and collecting rent from their opponents, with the goal being to drive them all into bankruptcy leaving one monopolist in control of the entire economy. Since the board game was first commercially sold in the 1930s, it has become a part of popular world culture, with it been locally licensed in more than 103 countries and printed in more than 37 languages.

Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman is the fifth book in the Captain Underpants series by Dav Pilkey. It was published on August 29, 2001 and is the last book in the series to not end on a cliffhanger, as well as the last book to only feature George, Harold and Captain Underpants as the main protagonists. It features the reformation of George and Harold's formerly cruel teacher, Ms. Ribble, who is reformed at the end using the 3-D Hypno Ring (also used to hypnotize Mr. Krupp, leading to him becoming Captain Underpants in the first book) through reverse psychology, due to the ring causing females to do the opposite of what the bearers of the ring order them to do.
